What is your opinion is making love and sex different? Which one is better and why?
Is sex is meaningless, and you know it when you do it?
Is making love is when you have stronger feelings than just the sexual ones when you’re doing it?

There is a difference! Sex is just sex… making love is totally different! It is by far better! It feels more passionate when it is with someone you are in love with.

I divide it into three categories: making love, having sex, and f*cking.
The latter is pure lust. This is what happens during one night stands and drunken hook-ups. There is little intimacy or emotional involvement between the two people. It’s all about pleasure. Often there is little respect involved.
Some people seem to feel that the above is also the definition for sex (vs. making love). I disagree. Sex involves emotional attachment between partners. In my opinion, the difference between sex and making love is why you are doing it in the first place.
For example, my boyfriend and I either have sex or make love, but we never f*ck. If one of us is feeling horny, or if we get kinky, I call that sex, because it is not about closeness. However, we are still very conscious of each other’s pleasure and aside from the motivation it is very similar to making love. Making love, however, is initiated by the need or desire to be close to one another and to take care of one another.
